It’s that time of the month again!

Every 4 weeks I publish a list of some of the online English platforms that are actively hiring.
The online teaching world is tricky to navigate at the moment, but there are plenty of opportunities out there, so I try my best to compile a monthly list to save you some time!
Before you apply, be sure to check out my tips to ace your interview!
Here are some of the online English companies hiring in October 2023:
You Can Camp
You Can Camp are looking for Mother tongue level English speakers to teach individual (1:1) and small group classes (1:4).
Online teaching experience with Kids and teens is required to apply for the position and all lesson materials are provided.

UnifyHub
Unifyhub offer a progressive salary scale and extra payment for special projects and any brand promotion activities, opportunities for ESL material development, content creation and professional growth.
A flexible schedule – 16 – 36 hrs per week – however they do prefer collaborating on a full-time basis – with the newly hired teachers they start with 2-3 groups. They provide CELTA-based lesson plans, curricula, and teaching materials for all English levels.

Schola
Schola is looking for native English speakers to teach students aged between 4 – 14 years old from Korea, Vietnam and Thaliland.
The pay is up the $10.5 per hour, with annual increases negotiable.

Nativecamp
Nativecamp are still actively hiring native teachers to teach English to students in Japan.
The current hourly rate is unknown, but Nativecamp will hire teachers with no experience, so this is a good place to start building your online teaching resume.

Novakids
Novakids are hiring English teachers with level C1 proficiency and a bachelor’s degree. A TEFL certificate or equivlant is desirable, but not a must, and the candidate must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Twenix
Twenix is the ideal platform for ESL teachers seeking the ultimate flexible teaching experience. You’ll have the opportunity to converse with professional adults based in Spain and Italy.
Pay range 6-14€ (6.8-15USD) per hour + bonus.
If you have a native-like English level, experience and a TEFL certificate, this may be the company for you.

Lessons are conducted with all materials provided using the ClassIn platform. Teachers are expected to plan and follow the material provided.
Interested applicants should have some online ESL teaching experience and be motivated to work with children.
Pay range: $20-$22 per hour.

IAcademy is an online English company with flexible schedules and competitive wages. The student ages generally range from 4 – 13. The current demand for those who love working with young children (4-9 years) is high. The company are looking for passionate educators interested in teaching English Speaking classes online. This is a work from home, part-time, position which involves teaching Chinese students spoken English.
This is a company based in Canada which offers teachers and students fun dynamic classes in a rewarding working environment.
From $18.00 CAD (Canadian) per hour!

Hallo
Hallo is a social learning app and marketplace for English learning.
This is not your typical online ESL company!
The platform allows educators to stream, live video chat and, of course – lessons!
The salary is described as $15 for 1 -1 lessons and $30 for 1 – 5.
Hallo is looking for native English speakers, with South Africans preferred.
