Teaching English online has become my lifestyle choice, and for the
past year, I’ve been working with LiveXP. I want to share my honest
experience with this platform for those considering it as a teaching
option.

First things first – let’s address the elephant in the room: the pay
isn’t the highest in the online teaching market. However, what keeps
me on the platform is its incredible flexibility. As someone who
values the freedom to travel and manage my own schedule, LiveXP has
been a reliable partner in maintaining my digital nomad lifestyle.
What I Appreciate About LiveXP:
– Complete schedule control (you truly work when you want)
– User-friendly teaching platform
– Straightforward booking system
– No minimum hour requirements
– Quick payment processing
The Drawbacks:
– Lower pay compared to other platforms
– Can take time to build a regular student base
– Peak hours can be competitive
After a year on the platform, I can say that LiveXP works well as
either a supplementary income source or a primary platform for
teachers who prioritize flexibility over maximum earning potential.
It’s particularly suitable for digital nomads or those just starting
their online teaching journey.
Would I recommend it? Yes, but with the clear understanding that
you’re trading higher wages for freedom and flexibility. For me, that
trade-off has been worth it, especially as it allows me to maintain my
travel-focused lifestyle while teaching from anywhere in the world.
Have you taught with LiveXP or are you considering it? I’d love to
hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Hi Liam, nice post. Saw it on Reddit. Do you mind to share the pay per hour?
